Domaine Delettre was established in 2016, spanning vineyards across the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Bourgueil appellations in the Loire.
 

Stéphane Delettre works almost exclusively with Cabernet Franc, the grape that defines this stretch of the Loire, turning it into everything from straightforward reds to a rosé and a couple of playful sparkling cuvées, including one cheekily named Automédication. The range runs from easy drinking bottles like Passe Partout to more serious, site specific wines such as the estate's Cuvée Domaine.
 

As with the natural winemakers around him in Bourgueil, the focus is on letting the grape and the place speak clearly, with minimal handling in the cellar and nothing added that doesn't need to be there.
