This Sylvaner has a pale yellow colour with silver reflections. The nose is expressive, intensely herbaceous,with lime blossom, mint and verbena and a hint of lemon zest. The palate is fresh, full-bodied and well-structuredfor this modest grape variety, enhanced by a delicate acidity..

Match it with any food that has some sweet and/or sour, it really comes to it's own. Don't drink it too chilled.

Age of vines: 50 years, Hand-picked - Whole bunches pressed - Maturing on lees 6 months 2/3 in stainless steel tanks and

1/3 in amphora - Indigenous yeasts

50 years old vines are sited on sand/gravel/silt soil and situated just next to the forest
