Organic and biodynamic cultivation
Beautiful golden yellow colour
Nose is floral like jasmin, orchard fruit & some hints of anise,.
Palate has a soft round texture with a nice mellow freshness. You get some baked apple, little pear and some candies peach, but all very soft.
Towards the end there is a little almond bitterness with some anise thrown into it.
Delicious from the Alsace
⅓ was macérated for 7 days, ⅔ was direct press
Soil is standstone & volcanic
Aged in old Alsace vats for 6 months
Abv: 12%
