On the nose you can smell a little  smokeyness, ashy with some crushed fennel seeds

A wine with a good acidity & soft light stewed red fruit with an almost ashy finish.

Warm light flavours of cherry, kirsch, apricot & candies fig.

The salinity you get from the volcanic soil brings all the flavours nicely together & gives it a great drinkability with some soft light tannins

10 days of macération without destemming

Soil is standstone & volcanic

Aged in old Alsace vats for 6 months

Abv: 12,5%
